General Manager - Executive/Insurance - Cyprus



JOB DETAILS:
Location: Cyprus, Larnaca Limassol Nicosia Paphos

MAIN DUTIES:
• Lead and manage the company ensuring that the highest levels of customer service are provided to all clients across the organization.
• Manage and coordinate teamwork and resources between all departments.
• Recruit and develop personnel maintaining a focus on cost efficiency and quality.
• Ensure that the best interests of clients and shareholders are maintained.
• Manage relationships with partners, subsidiary companies and shareholder companies by using internal services such as claims handling, cost containment and assistance services according to Service Agreements.
• Initiate and actively support the global business development activities of the Group.
• Actively drive local business development according to Group guidelines and targets.
• Provide cost containment services through the effective utilization of providers‘ network.
• Render any help and service across the organization to create a successful and cohesive team environment that creates harmonious internal and external relationships.
• Be well informed about all relevant local laws and regulations and other matters to ensure compliance with all statutory procedure and regulations.
• Ensure a smooth co-operation with local authorities and institutions in each Country of operation.
• Build and maintain administrative and accounting policies and procedures ensuring a reliable and timely reporting cycle as per Company regulations.
• Manage the administrative expenses within budget limits for the approval of the Board at the end of the financial year.
• Be proactive in cost saving initiatives and ways of reducing overheads and costs.
• Ensure compliance with all standard corporate policies and procedures.
• Follow corporate instructions and guidelines on administration and personnel to ensure accurate and timely reporting.


PROFILE:
• Capable, results orientated General Manager with experience of leading high performance teams and of successfully increasing efficiency and productivity whilst reducing costs and inefficiencies.
• Have a strategic outlook with excellent communication and networking capabilities
• Ability to keep a level head at all times, nurture and grow a business, evaluate opportunities and risks and also deliver innovative new solutions to challenges.
• Possessing excellent client facing and configuration skills and highly successful in helping define company direction, achieving goals and optimising business.
• A high level of fluency in English both written and spoken is essential for this position.

Position:

Assistance Coordinator (full-time, permanent)


Job Description:
• Co-ordinate logistic arrangements locally and internationally
• Work closely with medical professionals
• Communicate over the phone and via e-mail with policy-holders and a worldwide network of providers

Job Requirements:
• Proficiency in English language, preferably native English speaker with knowledge of a third language, in order to communicate efficiently
• Previous working experience in medical assistance company will be an advantage to achieve high quality standards
• Pro-active and performing well under pressure
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Good computer user skills in Microsoft Office tools
• Service-minded, positive and flexible. Must be able to work in shifts including night shifts

• Communicate over the phone and via e-mail with policy-holders and service providers
• Co-ordinate logistic arrangements locally and internationally


Required Qualifications:
• Highly proficient in English language, or native English speaker, preferably with knowledge of a third language
• Previous working experience in medical assistance company will be an advantage
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Good computer user skills in Microsoft Office tools
• Pro-active with sense of responsibility
• Good team player
• Able to work and solve problems under pressure
• Excellent communication skills
• Service minded, positive and flexible. Must be able to work in shifts including night shifts. (5 working days per week)
